Hello,
So, I'm using a MS1 fuel injection system and trying to install it in a 1 cylinder engine. I was able to tune the VE tables using the stock ignition coil, which produces sparks using a magnet. Now, we are trying to install an automotive ignition coil. We have sparks and we are able to crank the engine. It keeps working for some time, but then, all of a sudden, we lose connection between the ECU and the computer. After a short period of time, the engine stopped working. To reestablish the connection, I have to turn the ECU down, close the software and take the serial cable out, and then, open the software, power up the ECU and connect the serial cable again.
I'm using the TunerStudioMS, v2.5.00, a serial to USB cable and running windows 7 on my laptop.
I tried to solve this for some time. Reinstalled my wirings, double checked the connectors, sensors, ignition coil and spark plug, but found no problems. Anyone have an idea about this?
Thanks in advance!

Try the latest 2.6.x TunerStudio.
Also, are you using a USB adapter or a built in serial port?
