Hi guys!
I have a new problem with a previously (almost) perfectly running MS1 on a mercedes 230E ('91). It has RPM spikes in the 3000-4000 rpm range, at about 2 regular spots, causing a 'misfire-feel' when I'm driving. It has always had the same issue at 4000-5000 rpm, but since I dont usually go there, its mostly not noticeable.
My setup:
M102 2.3 mercedes 4cyl, NA
MS1 with EDIS 4
Open loop mode, no O2 sensor (once tuned)
Pure MAP, no TPS input
Bosch ICV running closed-loop
Attached herewith are my datalog and msq files.
Help....
PS: Happy New Year!

You aren't running non-resistor plugs by any chance?
Where is the MegaSquirt grounded?

I am, in fact, running non-resistor plugs. You see, the original setup for this car was non-resistor plugs with suppressors built-in to the ends of said cables. Since I changed the spark system to EDIS, I had to run different cables. I put off getting resistor plugs because ones with bevelled collars are hard to come by where I'm at. Anyway, I installed washer-type resistor-plugs, and I can no longer feel the spike. Will get some datalogs next week.
Thanks, man!
