DSM 4g63 board confusion

i am having some trouble with a board i built for a 4g63. no RPM (pretty common)

i sat it up according to DIY's site and nothing. using an MSQ i downloaded from symtech, all settings match dieselgeek's settings, nothing works

Do i need a jumper in D1 or the diode? cause there is a jumper in there now.

Basically what would solve all my issues is if i had a board pic of someone with a working 4g63 installation.

Yes, D1 should be replaced with a jumper.

ok so that was good, i couldn't find any definitive info but i had a jumper in to start with so thats not an issue. the underside of the board is identical to the picture on your site (with the exception of added output circuits)

still can't figure out what the hell is wrong with this thing. its set up EXACTLY like its supposed to be but yet doesn't work?

Can you post your MSQ?

Does it get RPM if the Stim for Wheel mode is turned on?

just found my stimulator and am in the process of getting the msq up

FWIW, i have the CKP ran to the left (banded) leg of D1, because the jumper installed makes it the same as the right leg

no rpm with stim for wheel. is there a 2nd trigger for this setup on the stim? cause its not working either way

A JimStim can supply the second trigger; the regular (4 or 5 LED) Stim will not. Let me know what Stim variant you are using to test this.
