4g63 7 bolt setup questions

Hey guys, im new to the megasquirt thing so please bare with me. Id also like to add im here to learn, and have been doing a good amount of reading. So much information to register. Haha.
But anyways my car is a 87 bmw 325es. with a 97 4g63 turbo engine mated to a ford t5 transmission.
I have a ms1 v3.0 unit to be installed. I bought it from a guy that ran it on his 6 bolt 4g63 vr4 mirage.
What i need to know is can i wire it up just like a 6 bolt engine?
My engine has a cam and crank position sensor, can i just run the crank position for my inputs?
Im also new to wiring of this magnitude, is it really as easy as it looks?
Anything else that i should know?
Iv tried to upload pictures of my unit, but the pictures file sizes are to large to be uploaded, how would i work around this?

The internal mods are the same from 6 to 7 bolt engines, although the wiring itself may be slightly different as some engines have separate crank and cam triggers and others have them combined in one sensor on the cylinder head.

as for the Image size.. set your camera (Most decent cameras are able to) to the lower resolution capture.
