Knock Sensor Wiring

Hello,

I have a MS1extra and have built the knock sensing circuit on the daughter board and I have a bosch pizoelectric knock sensor.

Do I need some kid of pull-up on the signal wire for the circuit to work?

So I knocked it up on the bench tonight (pun intended) and you do not appear to need any additional excitation. The potentiometer adjusts the sensitivity where wound to the right increases the sensitivity. You can test it by hitting the sensor off of a metal desk leg or something else which chimes. The LED activates when detected.
