Hi all, new to the megasquirt scene and I will be the first to say I dont exactly know what im doing when it comes to tuning. I have been working with a good friend of mine who has tuning experience, just not with ms so we are trying to learn as we go.
The problem i am having is I cant get the engine to free rev past ~3k rpm. it sounds like it hits an ignition or fuel cut. HOWEVER when it starts to studder around 2500rpm it starts to build boost (~5psi) and then the engine will rev out to 3000-3500rpm I have to be floored in order to achieve this.
Setup:
EMS-PRO (MS1/Extra 029y4a)
2jz
36-1 trigger wheel on the crank
IGN-6 coil
quadspark ignitor
80lb siemins high impedance injectors
i personally think it is a fueling issue since it will rev higher once it gets into some boost (higher in the VE table)
I have attached my .msq and would like to post a datalog for you guys; however my neighbors dont seem to like it very much when i start revving up the car this late at night. lol
ANY help/input is appreciated regarding my tune. There is no drive time on this car yet.
