v2.2 wheel decoder and spark settings double check

i have a factory ford duratec 3.0 VR sensor v6
m90 supercharger and 35lb injectors out of a saab turbo. lol
got it running after hours of reading and trying settings
runs great and idle perfect-0
just want to see if i am missing something before i start tuning......

well some how this ran fine at the time and now it wont run. gets close but does not kick off
i am very much suspect of the wheel decoding and the cop not firing much
i have run the dwell up to 10ms on cranking but nothing changes
any thoughts?
using this msq too

36-1 wheel aligned the same as EDIS6 (see EDIS)
trigger angle=70
Timebased cranking and 10deg cranking angle.
trig A=35
trig B=11
trig C=23
Use three VB921 to drive the coils and set LED17,LED18,LED19 as spark outputs.
Spark output "inverted"
Dwell control with 5ms cranking, 4ms running and a 0.1ms min discharge.

i really dont want to clutter up everything with the edis6 but it worked factory perfect!

it is factory ford position/sensor and ran flawless on edis6
that should be the 6 tooth from gap right?

well found out that hooking up the fan relay ground to the ms1 turns it off?
i have this to X2
X2 to ground to activate the relay


in spark settings, i put 45 in the fixed angle it runs real clean in the rpm range
if i move the trigger angle i dont get much difference...........

Whoa don't ever hook anything to x0 through x7, or any other pin that's straight of the processor, without an appropriate input or output driver circuit. Whichever suits your application.

i am 99% sure this is how i ran the fan relay on my 4cylinder for a year or more
how do you wire in the fan relay then?

You won't find a processor pin that can switch much better than 10mA to 15mA. This is the normal circuit to drive a relay from a processor pin. http://www.msextra.com/doc/pdf/html/MS2 ... .4-42.html Thats from the MS2 V3.0 manual but relay drive circuit is the same as you would connect to X2 (JS0 on a V3.0).

so with a timing light and all the angles in spark settings set to zero it looks like 68 and +22.5 gets me good tdc in the balancer and timing cover

well.... i think i am going to throw this 200$ worth of parts in the trash and just rewire the edis6 in this
i just need it to work and ford seems to have nailed this
maybe someday if i get real bored i will spend more money and try again...........

rewired for edis6 and starts with just a touch of the button.
i tryed to be awsome sauce and failed
might work for some smarter guys but i like easy

oh and it dawned on me i ran the led18 for the fan not the x2
