So i decided to wash the engine bay of my 2jz swapped fc; I let it dry a full 24hrs before I started it back up. first drive car was running like absolute crap, Going lean and studdering like crazy. It was about 5min into the drive i realized my battery voltage was in the 16-17v range I immediately pulled over and unplugged the alternator connector, which i then found out was full of water still
Car ran better @12v but was still studdering like crazy. wouldn't let me rev past 5k.
Took it out today and still the same thing, although slightly better, it is still running terrible compared to pre-wash.
I took the ECU cover plate off and the drivers labeled TIP42C (im assuming injector drivers?) look like they have been overheated compared to the other drivers on the board.
SO do you guys thing the crazy spike in voltage may have fried my injector drivers? any help is greatly appreciated i need to fix this ASAP!
Thank you all
