Hello all,
I have an VW Golf 3 GTI with ABF engine running MS1 extra with the 60-2 hall sensor.
I have set the:
trigger angle = 60
Trig Pos A = 5
Trig Return Pos A = 15
Trig Pos B = 35
Trig Return Pos B = 45
LED17(D14) = Spark output A
Wheel decoder 60 teeth
missing teeth 2
dual dizzy normal
wheel decoder routine 025style
I am driving the coil on the negative side with VB921ZVFI,
spark out = inverted
dwell: 6.0ms cranking, 3.5 ms running, 0.1ms minimum time.
The coil is from a vw golf 2.
The problem is that it start pretty easy but idles rough.
If I pull the plug on cylinder 1 (near the drive belt) it almost dies, same for cylinder 4, but if I pull the plug on cylinder 2 and 3 (the middle) nothing happens.
Any ideeas?
Thank you.
I have also tested if this two have spark, and yes they have but only some times (one every a second or two).

Double check settings vs this http://www.msextra.com/doc/ms1extra/MS_ ... dizzysetts
Should not be set to dual distributor.

Hello,
It is not set to dual distributor
I have attached 2 pictures.
One are the settings, and the other is a logic analize of the crank sensor and the other is taken from top of R26.
Both are digital and analog measurements. Also the power supply for the sensor is sampled.
Thank you for the response

Re: vw ABF firing only two pistons
Try making the trigger return a few more teeth than the trigger (non 0).
Also in the output port options make sure you only have led14 set to spark a and led16 is not set to sparkb.
