Hi
I have just acquired a new laptop with bluetooth and tried connecting with my wireless rs-232 adapter (successfully used with shadow dash) . I had difficulty connecting to the laptop and eventually gave up. It did initially connect but flashed connected/not connected.
I have now tried to reconnect to my old Dell with the RS232 cable and it does not connect (COM1 is set to 9600 in device manager). It gives a message as shown in the attachment.
Now the engine will not even start when you remove the cable.
(HiRes code)
What on earth has happened ?
Please help -
update
Just loaded the latest Tuner studio on my old laptop and it appears to do the same thing as when I first connected my new computer - tries to search for com ports and then hangs up all the time
Did this cause the problem?
Many thanks

Re: HELP! ecu corrupted?
Try reloading firmware using the boot jumper and loading your last known good tune file.

Mat
Yes I have done this and it worked
Phil said that it is likely to be a bluetooth compatibility issue with MS1 and TS3
