Using ms1 as an msd ignition nitrous box

Hi all.
It should be able to be used just like an msd box. Right?
The car in question is a Opel Manta A and has conventional distributor ignition with a condensator and that small circuit breaker thingy.
I dont know what its called in english.

I should be able to trigger the ms off of the standard coil "driver" and just alter it with the box to then use the box to trigger the single coil.

Or am I thinking all ass backwards?

The guy want to lower the ignition timing when using nitrous.
