Bank 1/Bank 2 huge duty cycle spead---+ more

Post by MM887 »

396 SBF, s480 turbo, 5lbs of boost, ID1000 injectors, Magnafuel 750 fuel pump, 10an fuel lines, 42 psi base pressure

MS1, 3.0, 29y4

Looking at a quick datalog as I slowly start getting my cruise afr dialed in and pulling fuel out under boost, I'm noticing a few issues.

The first is looking at my injector duty cycle, bank 1 is showing a max of 92%, while bank 2 is showing 212%...PW for both banks are staying very similar, so I'm confusing about this huge swing in pulsewidth %. I realize my afr is still somewhat rich (using e85 on the gas scale), but I'm assuming I must have a setting not correct to be having such a high duty %.

2nd issue is that while looking at the datalog play back, the car never shuts downs or stalls, yet I see the "crank" and "ase" lighting up during the datalog. Once again, I'm sure its something in my tune, curious as to others input. Thanks!

The INI files have a bit of a glitch with the Duty Cycle 2 calculation.

I appreciate the info..Is that something i can remedy, or am i ok just going off the bank 1 duty cycle?

Also, any input on the "crank" and "ase" being triggered while the car is running?

Just use the bank 1 duty cycle.

I'm not seeing the crank or ASE indicators false trigger in the log you posted.

typically RPM dropping under cranking treshold, either noise or real RPM drop..

On my end, looking at the log I posted, the first crank trigger event occurs at a little after 106sec, record 1615

The only common thing I see when it is triggered on my logs, is when TPS ACC goes over 100.0

The noise is possible as well, but it only seems to happen when I'm over the tpsacc of 100
