EDIS V2.2 Board Jumper Question

Post by RacinNdrummin »

I successfully Built and a v2.2 unit about 9 years ago on my 5.0 mustang.

My question is with a second build I am doing to run a Ford 4.0 with EDIS-6.

In the EDIS directions, its pretty forward on what to connect, but my question has to do with the board. It looks like I can connect pin 24 of the DB37 to pin 14 of the processor for the PIP signal via a small solder point on one leg of R14. Or is pin 24 already connected to pin 14 inherently on the board?

As far as the saw signal is concerned, it looks like I can just run a jumper from #5 on the JP1 directly to pin 36 of the DB37, unless there is a jumper port on the board for pin 36?

After that, I just jumper D8, and I am set to go, correct?

I am going to be utilizing the stock harness, and going to convert an old EEC-IV to run my DB37 harness through.

Thanks in advance
