Using wheel decoder and MSns Distributor at the same time?
Hello everyone
Using MS1 v2.2, im getting a pickup from a 60-2 wheel but i have a distributor setup, i cannot check 2 boxes in the ignition settings, either generic wheel or MSnS and i am not willing to set up a wasted COP setup, please help, can i enable both?
Thank you

You are mixing up the concepts of tach-in and the spark out.
Configure the tach-in with "Generic Wheel" and set a single spark output.

Thank you James,
Just to be sure, I am driving a 6 cylinder wasted spark, and you are saying i should drive all 3 signals through "spark A" in the output pin options.
PS: In the wheel decoder cylinder trigger positions, megasquirt will use Trigger position A only, and ignore Trigger B and C positions, or it will give out all the triggers through spark A?
Regards,

Are you saying you have a 60-2 wheel in a distributor but have 3 wasted spark coils for the ignition?
Find the Manuals up top under Quick links: Manuals.

Re: Using wheel decoder and MSns Distributor at the same tim
Problem solved, i ran all 3 ( A, B, C ) sparks through spark A using wheel decoder only.
I will try to clarify better my question for future user questions for similar problems.
Engine is a bmw 3.4 straight 6. Crank Wheel 60-2, and it is running on a Bosch 139 ignition with a distributor system.
Therefor i am getting my signal from the crankshaft sensor into megasquirt thereby using the wheel decoder in tuner studio.
but i also need the MSnS to be checked for me to use the stock coil and distributor system but tunerstudio says that i can only use one code type in the ignition pickup options.
IF i dont choose MSnS, while i be able to drive all 3 trigger angle signals through one output ( spark A ) thereby keeping my stock distributor system.
OR i have to setup a wasted COP.
Thank you all !!

Set only spark a as an output but set trigger positions a,b,c in cylinder trigger positions.
