Idle Advance Settings - MS1 + Extra Active?
Is this a functioning option with MS1+Extra? Or is this only usable with later versions?
If it is functioning, how does it work?
My theory is this is how it should work, but it doesn't seem to work for me:
Idle Advance = (Set to desired timing at Idle RPM, Ex. 12* BTDC)
Idle Advance TPS threshold = (2 or 3 "points" above TPS reading at closed throttle position)
Idle Advance RPM threshold = (Desired Idle Speed, Ex. 850 RPM) ### If idle is not rock solid at 850 RPM, will this not get triggered into "Idle Timing"?
Idle Advance CLT threshold = (Set at coolant temp where Idle Timing will be active, Ex. If set at 50*, 49* and below, will be inactive, 50* above will enable "Idle Timing"
Idle Advance Wait Time = (Time after all parameters have been met before switches to "Idle Timing")

My Configuration:
1904cc Type 1 VW Engine (Air Cooled Classic Beetle)
MS1/Extra rev 029y4***********
Wasted Spark controlled via MS (no EDIS module)
Ford Escort Throttle Body w/ PMW Idle Valve

Re: Idle Advance Settings - MS1 + Extra Active?
Mostly right, but the rpm threshold just sets the rpm where below the idle advance will go active, and above, it will use ignition map.
But use the map instead, way easier
