I thin you can still buy them from Liquidware:

http://www.liquidware.com/shop/show/DSH/LCDash+1-7+GT

$399 and the firmware is available on LCDash.com

Considering how cheap tablet systems are getting these days, this may be a bit too expensive for some.

I know Im dragging this thread up from the dead but I picked up one of the LCDash 1.8 units off of ebay a few months ago and I am just now getting to install it into my project car. I am really interested in setting up a speedo and fuel gauge so I can remove my remaining stock gauges. I have found the guide on how to setup the speedo at the wikipages site but I still cannot figure out how to setup a fuel gauge, any help there would be appreciated. I have yet to power it up ( as it came with no power cord!!) so im not sure what version fw it has loaded, a finger in the correct direction for the latest fw would also help. Thanks in advance
