Re: texense can board compatible with ms ?
I think compatability is highly doubtful.
That page says "Compatible only with our IRN8C and IRN4C"

Re: texense can board compatible with ms ?
IRN8C and IRN4C are sensors that have a liner 0-5 output what can protocols do we need? I have very limited can experience and have a few customers asking to be able to log a lot of different inputs that I currently have no way to log.jsmcortina wrote:I think compatability is highly doubtful.

Re: texense can board compatible with ms ?
It needs to be using the MegaSquirt protocol which is different from any other CAN protocol. So unless they target this to be MS-compatible, it won't work.
How many inputs do you need? I do have a few options available that will provide additional I/Os over the CAN bus for either an MS2 (running MS2/Extra) or an MS3. These are the I/O Extender and the TinyIOx. (The I/O Extender link is out of date for some things but the functionality described is correct).
Jean
EDIT: You might also want to have a look at this story of someone using the I/O Extender: http://forum.jbperf.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=1098

Re: texense can board compatible with ms ?
Jean I'm sorry I completely forgot about the I/O extender and the tinyIOx looks promising .I need 10 0-5v inputs,2 vss in's, and 3 extra on off outputs. For the next build I'll be doing. pming ya nowracingmini_mtl wrote:It needs to be using the MegaSquirt protocol which is different from any other CAN protocol.
