MS1 or MS2 as i/oX?

I have MS3/3x and want more i/o inc 8 egts. I also have an MS1 3.0 that is sitting. Any way to use it or plans for future firmware for this?

There is no CAN bus on the MS1 so that is not possible.

I'm pretty sure that yes an MS2 could be used but a Microsquirt actually has firmware written for it for use as an I/O extender with MS3.

What I/Os are you looking for? DIY has the CAN-EGT with its 8 channels, and as noted the uS can be used as a remote box. That said, I'm in the process of building a custom IOx-OEM board for a client that includes 8 TC amps, 7 ADC inputs, 4 medium-power outputs, two light outputs, fuel pump PWM control, an on-board Baro sensor as well as an RTC. Oh, yes - it also has its own power supply for the various components as well as external sensors.

If you want a kitchen sink, I'll need to find a bigger enclosure ... :D
