8" Diameter Crank Trigger Wheel?

Post by Healey3000 »

Hi,

Is there an OEM wheel commonly found in this size? US vehicles preferred.

36-1 or even 60-2 will be fine.

Thanks.

None that I know of, but FWIW I use an 8 1/4 inch wheel, from DIYAutotune, behind an 8 inch damper on an sbc

Ken

EDIT: Gotta correct myself here! The wheel is between the pulley and the damper.

Thanks Ken,

The way this engine is, I have very little room to mount a wheel and the pulley/damper is a one-piece affair. The DIYA wheel won't fit, unfortunately so I'll have to improvise.

I have a design in mind for a way to mount a wheel that I'll be posting in the near future to get input on.

Regards.

I have a 36-1 wheel that bolts to the back side of the damper.
It is only 7 inches in diameter.
