Connectors for LS2 coils??

Post by Healey3000 »

Hi,

I'm now thoroughly confused by the Delphi connector types. 150 Series, GT 150 Series, Metripack 150...

The MS documents mention the connector for the LS2 as part number 15439568, available at Mouser. To make matters more confusing, Mouser calls this a 150 Series and a 280 Series. Elsewhere it shows up as a GT 150. The data sheet links don't work and a general search for 15439568 turns up nothing from Delphi.

Does anyone know exactly which connector is required for the LS2 coil? I want to make sure I order the correct terminals and lay hands on the correct crimper.

Thanks.

Re: Connectors for LS2 coils?? - SOLVED

Hi,

I believe I have resolution on this, after a couple of calls to Mouser and Delphi.

This connector is a GT 150 series item. The correct part number is indeed what the MS sequencer documentation says - 15439568. While it does not appear in Delphi's GT 150 catalog, it is a current part. With this number, you can find terminals, seals and the TPA lock.

There are other variants that look very similar but the keying is different.

Hope this proves useful.

Hi

Hope I can barrow this thread for my question.
I live in Sweden so it's hard to find information here.
I have got 8 coils from a Trailblazer that I plan to put in my Chevy BB with MS3X/V3.0.
My problem is to find the right connectors to my coils.
Hope someone can help me in this forum.
Here are two pictures how they look.
I really appreciates all the help I can get.

I show 829-15439568 Mouser for the connector for my LS2 DS514A coils.

I believe there are several models for the LS2 coil, for instance a LS2 "Truck" coil. I found this out when investigating dwell for the LS2 coils. Possibly LS2 is a bit genetic. You might try Rock Auto to search for the vehicle that has the model of LS2 coil you have and that might lead to a connector number.
