BMW Crank Hall Effect Sensor 12141703277

Post by B1ack_Mi16 »

Ok

I've got problems with the VR sensor on my Peugeot, and it seem like the BMW Hall sensor 12141703277 will fit physically into the orignal space of the Peugeot VR sensor.

But I can't find the wiring / pin out on this BMW sensor: 12141703277

Anyone got it lying around somewhere?

Best regards

Kristian

I bouth a china copy of this sensor just to confirm the pin out etc.

So what I found is this:

Pin 1: +12v / +5v
Pin 2: Signal
Pin 3: Ground

It does not seem to need a pull-up to work.

Signal has voltage when metal object is in front of sensor, and 0 volt when nothing is in front of it.

This BMW sensors fit OEM location on Peugeot 205 GTi, 309 GTi, 405 Mi16, 405 T16, 306 GTi etc. for info.

Hello B1ack_Mi16 did the BMW hall effect sensor work reliably in your Mi16, I have a 205 GTi and are using the same sensor. I seem to be loss of sync once I have the engine started.

Could you let me how your project went

A VR sensor used with a microSquirt needs the shunt resistor in the circuit.

Use only these manuals other manuals may cause brain damage or worse.
