Wondering which vehicles came from the factory with TPS mounted on the accelerator pedal.
Jeep Wrangler has I believe....just wondering what other options might be out there for those of us that can't fit an actual throttle body mounted TPS into our engine bay for whatever various reasons. I've had quite a few ideas half azzed ideas about how to work around this but if the OEM engineers already did that for us.....I thought it might be worth asking about. I've run without for years, using MAPdot somewhat successfully but I'd love to see the TPS in my datalogs just to learn, understand.
Any thoughts on which vehicle had TPS (or I guess technically accelerator position sensors) on the pedal?

Looks like some Audi A3s and VW TDI's had something that may work as well.
Probably as easy to fabricate something that uses an existing TPS -a linkage in the bay that would engage it, or adapt it to the existing throttle pedal...than adapt antoher makers unit into your build. Still, maybe worth talking about.
