I don't have the MS2 chip, but will have one soon. Meanwhile, I have requested for alphatesters at the Teamswift forums. I am sure someone will try it before I get the chip.

It gives me great pleasure [drums please ] to be the first to report that IT WORKS .
I tried beta 8, on a v3 board. Cranking advance (left) set to 6 degrees, spark output from D14. After minor VR pot adjustment, tach signal was correctly interpreted in MT.
The most noticeable difference is cranking/starting - the car cranks more aggressively and starts much quicker than with the grinded reluctor.
Went for a short ride - the car feels more responsive low/mid rpm.
So now it's finally true - all those swifters out there can use MS2 with their otherwise stock G13B engines, with no engine mods!
A big thank you to the MS2 extra developers!
[and sorry for the delay in testing, can't afford much downtime when you have only one car ]
And now onto closed-loop idle tuning . If you are interested in logs, just ask, no problem.
P.S. A note to everybody migrating from B&G code - be mindful of your maximum spark duration, or soon you'll discover an unexpected rev limiter .

Sorry, but I made it possible way before the MS2-Extra code. My custom 025mX and 029vX codes have been extensively used among the swift community.chense wrote:So now it's finally true - all those swifters out there can MS their otherwise stock G13B engines, with no engine mods!
Take a look: http://caaarlo.50megs.com
Anyway, it's good to know that now, the MS2 is swift compatible.
PS: I don't have any MS2 chip yet.
