Beta Code Boost Control Issues
I just got my boost control setup. I am using pin JS11 and using all of the parts for MS1 extra boost control. I am outputting via one of the idle stepper motor pins on the ECU. I am also using the GM solenoid valve.
Today I turned it on and was trying to run in open loop mode. I was slowly increasing the duty cycle to find where the valve would start changing boost. I didn't get very far though. By the time I had the duty cycle up at 25%, I noticed my engine was running extremely rich. I immediately turned boost control off and the engine began to run normally again at my normal AFRs. The boost control duty cycle is causing my injector pulse widths to increase. Whats the deal with this?
I datalogged the strange behavior. In the first half of the datalog, boost control is on. In the second half of the log, boost control is off. You can see where I turned it off because there is a sharp drop of RPMs where I burned to the ECU. This is located at 5943.913 seconds.

After messing a little further with the settings, it seems boost control is not working at all for me. I swapped my circuit over to use JS0 for IAC A. I did not drive the car around further to see if I was having issues with my PWs. I did however just try to get the GM valve to close and was unable. I was running in open loop mode, i changed my duty cycle tables appropriately and had no luck at getting the valve to close. Does anyone here have any ideas?
Does anyone have boost control running on MS2 extra yet?

The engine went richer because accel enrichment was triggering the whole time you were on the throttle when boost control was on.
It does appear that there is a bug in boost control causing this in the rtc section.
However, the duty cycle on IAC1 is correct so the solenoid not working was due to something other than a code problem.
I would guess you might want to invert the solenoid output and try again.
