Just makin sure I got this right...


When I choose Knock Enable in Spare Port Settings....

That signal goes to the Spare Output JS11 Correct??

BETA 6 Corrected the port PA0 issue right??

I ask because i am havin issues getting it to work correctly Consistantly...
First off i wanted to make sure I had it wired correctly. Hence the question about JS11... and then to make sure that the code was fixed...

I read UnaClockers post in the Beta 6 Thread about his sucess with Port PA0...

but he is only using it for a cooling fan ... and that only needs Coolant Greater then .....

I am using TPS Greater Then... and, RPM Greater Then... i cannot get it to turn the nitrous system above 98% @ 5000rpm.

I have gotten it to turn on the nitrous when i set it to ONLY TPS Less then 3%..

That started dumping fuel on to the closed TB plate... so i changed it to : ONLY TPS Greater then 98% and went for a ride and it didnt dump fuel at all

that was the extent of the test ... for the most part... but thats where im at...

Still cannot use built in Nitrous control yet... so i am using the spare ports to test the kit out ... I have had the kit for going on 2.5 months now .. still havent used it... :?

I mean I should FEEL a 50 shot? ... at 1150psi Bottle pressure....right...

Please post an msq. Also, are you sure your TPS is calibrated properly? Have you tried >= instead of just >?

1. I havent tryed Equal to.... Only Greater then and Less then... Basically switching from greater then to Less then, to trigger the fuel fuel solenoid... at idle...
EDIT: This worked HOWEVER, it was finnicky... IIRC.. I use Greater then 3% throttle so i could open the hood and move the throttle with my hand past 3%... That should turn on the Nitrous system. Well IIRC when i burned those settings... i still had the MASTER arm switch off... but once i turned the master arm on it started spraying Right away, I have to try it again and make sure i had my settings correct... It was late last night....

I shall try TPS Equal to 100, hist 2

2. I cannot use the nitrous control because you have it going out on a IAC1 line... I need my IAC... so i cannot use that until the next Alpha Release of the 2.0 beta 6 ... so that i can get someone to change that output to PA0... Instead of IAC1-2...

Im just trying the SIMPLEST form of control, with a spare port .. and i cant get it :(

I mean I should feel a 50 shot right?? If it is working???

I don't know much about how much you feel a shot of nitrous if it's working.

Do you have a stim? Could you try testing on the stim to see if it's working there?

I'll check it out hopefully sometime this weekend as well.

Yes i do have an old stim... but i cannot find my 12v wall wort... and i Dont want to buy another one when i know i already have one... For now its just in car...

Oh and another thing

my TPS is calibrated...
Closed = 46(this is one ADC lower so my % never goes negetive)
WOT = 939(made it so i had to push a little harder on the throttle pedel to get it to 100% )
this gets me from 0 to 100% throttle all the time...
