skip pulses question

Is it me, or does MS2Extra skip tach pulses regardless of whether it's running fuel or fuel and spark? If it is skipping pulses, is there a way to set this to 0 because I'm not controlling timing, and I'd like it to fire my injectors the first time I get a tach pulse.

So, I edited the INI and set this to 0, and it still skips 3 pulses. Can this be changed? I don't run spark so it's kinda annoying that my car has to crank so much before kicking over.
