odd behavior with O2

Post by Keithg »

It may be a setting somewhere, but I switched off EAE this morning to do a bit of VE map tuning (high rev, low map). I noted that GEGO acted weird. It sat at 100% even though it was lean and would only sporadically twitch rich. When I engaged EAE and went to this part of the VE map, it acted normally. Could this be why some are having PID problems? My PID values are 35,20,5. As I said, it works and looks fine when EAE is engaged, but with normal AE, it acts odd. I am running 08122007 version of MS2/E Beta.

I'll take a look to see if I can duplicate this behavior on the bench. IT may just be that you need different settings with EAE on vs EAE off.

I've used it in-car both ways and not noticed this problem though.
