Please forgive me if this question has been asked many times already but I searched and couldn't find the information I'm looking for.
I'm trying to put together a set of PDF files that contains the datasheet, instruction set and basic module documentaiton for the HCS12 chip. So far I've got the datasheet from FreeScale and a pretty lousy list of ASM instructions but nothing else.
Is there a comprehensive archive of these documents available through one of the Megasquirt websites?
Also is there a memory map for the MS-II base and extra code sets available.
I have a lot of experience developing on desktop PCs and with the PIC and 8051 micro-controllers but almost none on the 6800 series Motorola processors. Is there a decent "introduction" book or PDF that would help me to become familiar with the HCS12 without having to wade through a lot of basic info? Are these processors very similar to the 68000 series? I worked with those a long time ago but still remember quite a bit from those days.
