MS2/Extra 2.0 beta11 (20071003)
Fixes/Changes in this release include:
1) Fixup 2nd trigger modes - "LS1" and Nippondenso (24/2) settings weren't working.
2) Added a new 2nd trigger setting for the above - see F1 help on the trigger wheel page.
3) Test code change for Neon/420A. Looks a lot better on scope, but needs in-car testing.
4) Implemented some of Miata 99-00 patch, needs in-car verification.
The beta is here:

The other pending changes that Ken mentioned in the beta 10 announcement are still on the to-do list.

Interesting. I just went for a drive. I'm using the non inverted VR sensor input.
Stumbles a bit mostly in the low to mid rpm range but not nearly as bad as before. Above 5k rpm it misses occasionally but not much. Could run it up to 7500rpm or so no problem. That's as high as I tried. I'll go take a datalog now and I'll come back and post it.
Here is my MSQ and Datalog. Had a bit of a scare. On one of the runs heard a very strange noise that turned out to be my alternator belt shredding

Sounds like it's running alot like it used to for me, for you. I posted my datalog in the Neon problem thread. I flat out hit a wall at 4900rpm and it WILL NOT rev past that. Very very weird! I didn't notice the low RPM miss I used to have, but then, I barely did much testing. I'm going to try driving to work on it this morning.. I just won't be revving very high. ;)

Steve,
Is that really something funky above 7k RPMs where you start having AFR spikes up into the 15s and 16s (at 138.7 seconds for example), or is that nothing? Your AFRs are perplexing me a bit with how low they stay most of the time, and then those lean spikes up high in the RPMs under boost. . .
Oh, and also it looks like it's reading 14.6:1 on overrun, so something must be out of whack with the way MLV is reading your wideband, or something?
Or am I seeing it wrong. . . .

i didnt look at the log, but if hes quite rich, and his ignition is suboptimal for whatever reason, and he gets a miss, it causes unused O2 to pass the sensor and make it read lean. thats probably what it is. the richer it is, the harder to fire the plug too, and at peak torque, with high cylinder pressure its even harder.Tjabo wrote:Is that really something funky above 7k RPMs where you start having AFR spikes up into the 15s and 16s (at 138.7 seconds for example), or is that nothing? lol, true, i didnt even read the "over 7k" bit. that makes a lot of sense too.
