cranking advance

Post by automat »

simple question. the engine is a 3 cylinder with a basic 3 teeth trigger in the dizzy. the trigger angle is 1 deg BTDC. when cranking it uses this to determine spark no matter what number i put in the cranking advance bin. the trigger is set to basic trigger, not trigger return (just like in MSnS_E). can't I set the cranking advance to be "time based" like in MSnS_E?

edit: forgot to mention it runs on beta 16. besides cranking issues it runs very well :)

Not with "next-cylinder" mode no.

If a very low advance is used then the coil is fired at the trigger during cranking.
