Triggering MSD6A unit
1/5/2008 Beta Code
I'm not sure if this is a bug in the beta code or if its a problem with how I have things setup, but my rev limiter settings arn't working. I am using the spark retard/cut and using 13 degrees of retard for the soft rev limit. When I hit the soft rev limit, it added 13 degrees to my timing instead of retarding. When I put -13 in the maximum retard field, it automatically sets it to 13 next time I open up the rev limiter settings. Any ideas here?

Could you post your MSQ please. I tried this on the bench and the Megatune indicated advance appeared to correctly retard when I reached the limiter.

How are you determining that the advance increases instead of decreases?
Is this using a strobe or on Megatune's gauge.
