I'm considering upgrade to MS2 processor, especially MS2Extra. Read many post, the manual, downloaded needed MT and firmware files.
Just curious what is the purpose of bootstrap.s19 file in ms2extra_beta20080105.zip ?

The bootstrap.s19 is loaded with the boot jumper. Then you remove the boot jumper and reboot, and you can use the jumperless reflash to put ms2/extra on the ms2.
The reason for this is that the built-in boot loader doesn't support writing more than 64k for the firmware, but we're at around 66k in size... our boot loader supports up to the 128 k that the processor has on it.
If you just use the batch file that's included, and follow the instructions that come up when you run the batch file, it should work fine.
