injector duty cycle

Post by spyro »

i was using hires code before switching to msextra and my duty cycle was between 85/90max
now with ms2 extra i have 130%
and the injectors are noisy compared to hires code
can this be related to injector pwm period ?
ihave 66 thats what is the default and i have high impedance injectors

High impedance injectors don't use PWM. Set the duty cycle to 100% and the time to 25.4ms. That's probably why they are making noise and the duty cycle is artificially high.

i have them setup like that
i remember that on the hires code i had to disable ae on boost to bring the duty cycle to the correct values , but on ms2extra this option does not exist
on my other topic of the "rpm drops to zero" theres is the msq im using

So do you have them at 66%, like you said in your first post, or 100% like I suggested and you claim you have them at. You can't be at both settings at the same time.

The "66" is 66us PWM period. This setting wasn't available on MS1 and should normally be left at the default setting on MS2.
