Could this development of the code make a difference for this problem?
The code changes only impact the outputs, nothing was changed relating to wheel decoding and sync loss etc.

FWIW, My setup (6/1 sequential) won't start unless the filters (only) are turned ON, default settings.
You might want to jumper pin 14 to gnd on the LM1815s to set them for zero crossing mode if you haven't already.
(assuming LM1815 chips, if not disregard)

I'm running the newest beta code currently, but I'm fighting an unrelated issue that started right before I loaded it.
(tank of bad gas (I think))

The "single event" misfire signature is MIA since loading 3.1.2 Beta, have put ~400 miles on it logging the whole time.
(usually easy to spot)

My hard "mystery cutout//bad gas" issue was probably malpractice on my part playing with CLT-based rev limiting, I "assumed" it would have no effect above max CLT, but apparently the "bypass RPM" was somehow still still active at CLT well beyond the last dot in the graph... or so I thought (This is probably my misteak)

That was at least 3rd gear, in first it will try and toss you through the windhield.

FWIW, here's the MSQ/log for the above cutout (NOT having to do with the single event the beta strictly addresses)

Hmm i got stranger problem with MS2 3.1.1.

I have 4g63 triggering. 1 and 2 cylinder gives good spark but 3 and 4 gives weak spark. Can this mod do that?

How i should test this?

i was the one who tested the new code on my v6 with a 3 toothed crank wheel with hall sensor and a half moon cam wheel. it did help but when i tried to tune the spark i could not get the misfire out. if i remember the misfire was around 4k and no matter what i played with i could only move the misfire around but not take it away.

i havent been able to get the car running happy with my MS3 MSX. back when i was running MS2 it ran just fine but since the upgrade its unhappy.
its been about a year now and the car dont run on MS3 but i kind of gave up for sometime. the goal is to get the car running good n/a and then boost it. im gonna try again here soon but if i am still unsucessful im gonna change from the stock 3 tooth wheel with hall sensor to a VR missing tooth wheel setup which im not looking foward to since i will have to change it from the clean stock setup to a setup that i feel might be problem-matic.

anyways im gonna check my wiring, my tune and setting then give it another go but my goal was to see if the code has been changed or whats new with it hoping there is a easy fix. only thing i can think is my angle is off since it worked like a champ before with ms2 but now i went sequential its mad.

anyways if there is some advice or a new release id like to give it a try. thanks..

i can post my msq and all later but im on a different laptop right now.
im gonna try it out again, log it and see what i come up with.

thanks

This code ended up as mainline, as some major parts got rewritten/optimized.
It did see some massaging over time, and the latest beta has many other improvements.

I don't think any of the improvements did anything with the trigger filters, it is very likely it's wiring/setup related.

You might want to load the latest version and work with current development.

Usually at the top of this forum.

I loaded gslenders 3.30b-based 2.44 version last night and put 80 miles on it commuting.
I'm not currently setup to test the improved idle stuff, but the changed filters seem much improved.

That's a development version.

Generally use 3.2.1

Weird, as far as I was aware all the test feedback I had was positive. That's why I put it in the mainstream MS2 and MS3 codes.

yeah when i tested it i had good results but i didnt fully test it i took it out for a drive and it seemed good but once i tried to get my spark map tuned out it seemed to have a misfire. now i think its probley my spark angle off or something else but i only wondered if it was a final code that might have smoothed it out. when i got it off you oringionally you just wrote it for testing.
