Known bugs. (yes, already!)

If more than 5 "groups" are enabled in CAN outpc broadcasting, the code sends the final group continuously. Fixed for the next alpha.

6cyl COP (even or odd fire) seems to have a 2.5v double pulse on Spark E and F instead of the 5v single pulse I'd expect. Spark A-D work fine.

This is a new setup, so I will keep going back to older firmwares and let you know what I find.

Check your hardware because the CPU cannot output a 2.5V signal.

You are correct. A small strand of wire had fallen on the processor.

James, how much NTC temperature sensors MS can serve? By default CLT and MAT. No more other? Like temp of fuel, temp of oil and other? Just only for logging.

For logging you can use a transform function in TunerStudio (somehow) to convert a raw ADC value from ADC6 or ADC7 and datalog it.

Hi
Is this a Bug?
The Boost Duty stay by 0% when Boost build on and jump to 100% if I do not expect it?
I have a solenoid when no Power (12V) is stay close and full boost.
My Boost settings "Inverted" and "Use Inital Valu Tabel".
When i switch to "No Inital Valu Tabel" my Boost Duty works OK, Boost Duty stay by 100% when under Target Boost.

I think sequence batch is not working correctly my scope is bad so i can not be sure but in the jim stim if I select sequence batch start always in the same trigger point the output of the led do not look firing in the correct alternating order. I have try the stable code the beta and now this one and is present in every one. I am trying to have 2 event alternating that always starts in the same trigger with a 12 + 1 trigger setup. Can anyone check with a scope to see if the can replicate the strange behavior.

I use 2 alternating time mask 0 and trigger 1

I have a problem using boost control. With every setting of the basic slider i can't get the right pressure, it always oscillates. And also using the advanced mode with only P and I, i've always huge spikes in duty that goes to min dty and max duty.
The slider is supposed to work also on advanced mode?

And also, i've a problem with the target afr1 target gauge, it's stuck at the 14:1 value. I've already tried to recreate the dashboard...

Sorry, by now i don't have a datalog of the testing with the boost control, but with basic setting, i've started from 0 of the slider to the max value, and the pressure was always oscillating. I've also tryied variyng the control interval from 50ms (20hz valve frequency) to 100ms.
For the afr1 target gauge not working, i need to check if also in the datalogs there is the problem.
By now i can't provide logs as a out-of-spec brand new injector has a scarying low flow rate vs the others and it have destroyed (luckily only...) a spark plug, but now the seller of the injectors is in vacation, so no way until semptember :(
Always check flow rate of the injectors!

Hello,

I´m using version 3.2.1 on my rotary 12A, and i was looking to update the firmware, but from what i have read this 3.4 alpha 4 also have some things to correct,
and there is also problems affecting releases before this one that were noted now.

Since i´m planing to remove the 12A and install a 13b 6 Port with turbo, the idea is to first use it on the old engine and have it tested before the 13b is ready.

Is there any plan for a release in short time (1 or 2 months) ?,,,, if not, what software version is more stable (higher than 3.2.1) for the Wankel engine ?

Tanks in advance.

James, is it possible to add fuel consumption equation to CAN dashboard? Its very usefull with VDO dashboards in many cars with CAN.

Code: Select all

 Fuel consumption (liters/sec) = RPM * injector open time * injector flow

I'm not quite sure what you are asking, but the current release code is available from the Downloads page linked above.

Do you have the message format for that ?

Yes, its already implemented. But nobody use full functions :D
For example in my Alfa, we in packet 0x561 use only RPM and CLT.

Code: Select all

// fuel consumption
// 0x561 8 00 00 00 00 xx xx 00 00
// xx = fuel consumption 0-132 L/hour
