Re: MS2 diy autotune CAN EGT
That looks like you did not keep the default setting in your CAN device and enabled the serial communication. From what I can tell your PC is connected to the MS2 and your CAN-EGT is connected to the CAN bus going to the MS2. So you're not using the serial communication to talk to the CAN-EGT but the CAN bus.
Go in the CAN device tab in your project, select the CAN-EGT from the list and disable the serial communication. Also, without your project file, how you connected everything and knowing what you tried to do this is just guessing.

Re: MS2 diy autotune CAN EGT
You need to change the CAN ID from the default '0' to the CAN-EGT ID which is '1'. The way you have it now, you're telling TS that your MS2 CAN ID is 0 at the top and that the CAN-EGT ID is also 0. This will result in TS trying to communicate to the MS2 instead of the CAN-EGT.
By the way, leave the Main controller CAN ID to 0 as it is now (top of the screen).

Re: MS2 diy autotune CAN EGT
That looks good.
Any unconnected EGT input will show up as the maximum possible temperature. If you want to change that, you can put a short wire between the '+' and '-' inputs on all the unused EGT inputs: that should give a temperature close to the board temperature.

Re: MS2 diy autotune CAN EGT
I've never used Shadow dash so Phil or someone else with experience on it will have to answer. Can it see CAN devices? That's not necessary but that could be useful.
