Hi
I'm only using 1 VR input (36-1 on the Cam) would it be possible to implement code and a setup menu for the 2nd VR input to measure clutch slip % with a calculated gear ratio.
I've done this using data acquisition on marine transmissions with good results
Any thoughts

Re: Clutch Slippage using the spare VR Input
MS3 can already do most of this with the "Shaft Speed" sensors system.

Re: Clutch Slippage using the spare VR Input
Sweet I'll check it out ... is this possible with MS2-V3

Re: Clutch Slippage using the spare VR Input
It's not something for which I can give intelligent comments, but I THINK you can do this with custom fields in TS.
QuadraMAP Sensor Module -- PWM-to-Stepper Controller -- Dual Coil Driver
Coming soon: OctoMAP Sensor Module
TTR Ignition Systems

Re: Clutch Slippage using the spare VR Input
So lets say I install the 2nd VR sensor, just for simplicity here... will I be able to monitor this parameter in TS for example with a 2nd Tacho.
I'm not near my TS laptop, Is there an option in TS to enable this feature ? everything that I have remember is an option for cam & crank combinations to run one of the many choices for ignition/Inj, as mentioned I'm only running a 36-1 off the Cam.
And would I be correct in saying that a custom ini would also be required for the calculation in TS ? just like when you add an Fuel / Oil pressure gauge for the spare ADC's
I'm going to stick with my MS2-V3 (fearful of my Wife) it sure would be neat to have this working.
Sounds like a question that maybe better asked in the TS section.

No, there isn't an option in MS2 to do this.
