Got MAF working

Post by ol boy »

Got MAF working today by doing a few data logs then creating the transfer curve and plugged it in. Fired up the first time. Moved the g/s stuff around while the wife drove. It seems that my MAF voltage is pretty noisy. Might need a bigger cap after the 1k resistor in the case.

More testing and tunning.

Yes,mine was noisy...changed the 1.0uF to 470uF (25v) and it is now as smooth as a babys bum...

Awesome, that's the data I need to know. I put in a 10uF which did help a little. I'll try a 100uf when I get home. I'm glad you had a noisy signal too. That must be normal then.

Here is a screen shot of it idling. I added a 100uF after the 1k resistor to ground. MAF load still moves around a bit which also causes the PW to fluctuate +-0.100ms which causes the O2 to jump about.
