Cam trigger that coincide with crank trigger

Post by masterx81 »

Hi!
Out there there are some engines that have the cam edges really close do crank edges. As i've understood it (speaking about the n-1 configuration plus 1 tooth cam signal before the pms) ms have an isr for the cam trigger and one isr for the vr trigger, if both fire together isr cam together weired things can happen due to the delay of the isr that came last.
Last engine with this problem i've had to redrill the crank pulley....
Isn't possible to enable a new mode that instead of waiting an isr, we check the level of the cam signal on the crank isr, so that there isn't a second isr that interfere?

Really thanks!

I have test in fiat 500abarth with MS3. The engine start well in full sync, but in first test, I noticed low power respect previous ecu...I have not done a fine tuning to the dyno, but first impression is low power and high EGT. I don't know if the problem is the tune (I had little time to test) or is there really a problem.

"Poll level" already exists. Is that what you mean?

Perhaps posting a composite log would help.
