decell max rpm threshold

Is there a way to tie decell to the same beginning and end points as acell for rpm threshold. I'm chasing a weirdness near the top of a pull when I begin to back out of the throttle which results in a reduction in PW and a lean back fire as the trans shifts into the next gear. My max rpm threshold for acell is 5krpm. Just an idea.
