Upgrading users are advised to enable the "old baro calc" for backwards compatability.

I might have found a bug.

Ignititor number 5 (JS5) is triggered and going high for a very short moment when the Megasquirt is powered on.
This is on a 6 cilinder COP setup.

Same circuit on other outputs, outputs stay low.

It makes the coil spark once, causing a potential backfire on startup if any fuel is in the intake manifold and the intake valve of that cilinder is open.

When I switch the ECU back to 4 cilinders on the stim, I do not see an innitial power-up blimps on any of the ignition outputs. And therefore also not on JS4 and JS5.

I also found this on the release 3.4.2.

I get an configuration error on the 36-2-2-2 Subaru mode.
Number of teeth / cylinders conflict.
Unable to make datalog as ECU locks up.
Tried 4 and 6 cylinders in wasted spark mode. No show.

3.4.3b2 Rover 2017-03-06_13.32.43.msq
I have a problem with the Rover #3 trigger under 3.4.2. Tried it on 3.4.3B2, same problem.
I have to add 30 degrees to the ignition table to get the ignition timing right and I have the offset maxed out at 20. So tooth no1 angle seems to be 50 degrees off.
Also I get an eratic RPM signal. it bounces ~100rpm This can be seen on the stim. No sync loss.

The MSQ you posted shows "coil on plug" which is not supported and correctly gives a config error.
Setting to "wasted spark" gets rid of the config error.

It is possible that nobody has ever tested this since it was added ten years ago.

Please start a new topic, detail the engine and post a composite log taken using "Log crank" ignition mode.

I could.
However, Jean's Stimulator is giving the correct output. So you could easily see what is going wrong on the input thing.
It is mentioned in his documentation as Rover 36-2-2. All dipswitches down, 2,5 and 6 up. In Tunerstudio it is Rover #3.

I'll check the actual MSQ on the car to determine how far the tooth#1 angle is off.

What about the Subaru 36-2-2-2 ?
