I have run into an issue with tuning the acceleration enrichment on my flex fuel car because it is based upon a pulsewith adder instead of a percentage based multiplication (as done in MS3). I have to scale the acceleration enrichment whenever I change fuel ethanol concentration, which seems to defeat the purpose of "flex fuel". If I do not scale it, transients are very poor.
Is there any chance of this being changed in the firmware? I can't imagine the change would negatively affect anybody's experience. I am surprised this has not been an issue with more flex fuel cars.
Thanks

Would % give finer steps also? xx.x% is pretty fine. Current PW adder is in 100us steps.

Any input from the developers on this one? Seems more like a design flaw than anything else to me. Seemingly simple change that would help drive-ability a lot for those of us trying to use the flex fuel feature.

Doing that would break the tune for upgraders. That's why we left it alone on MS2.

Re: MS2/Extra Accel Enrich PW - "%" instead of addition
I can understand that. Is it indeed a simple fix? Perhaps something I could modify in my own firmware? I understand coding basics, but I find it difficult to follow the ms extra code because there's so much there.
