Hello James,

This code is the last iteration for MS2extra and solve some bugs from 3.4.2 release. why don't release it as release 3.4.3 and make it available on the download page as the stable one ?

Best regards,
Manu

There are still some changes to Flex to backport from MS3. I had been waiting for feedback on the forum, but there has been none. However, recently I did get some info from DIYA indicating that the changes in MS3 were working for them.

Do you expect inforlations about 1.5.1b6 rewrite or about the «sensor fault» triggered during some startups due to sensor wake-up frequency ?

Yes.
or about the «sensor fault» triggered during some startups due to sensor wake-up frequency ?
I've not heard of this as an issue?

Hi James,

In certain case, MS3 report a Fuel-Flex sensor default AND display the real ethanol percentage and fuel temperature. The customers who encounters this problem haven't any problem with this because they don't activate the LIMP mode for Fuel-Flex sensor.

Anyway, I heard that a Fuel-flex sensor, due to manufacturer tolerance, can output some frequency out the normal range (50hz - 150hz) at start-up. Effectively, at start-up some customers report a frequency around 48~49hz, but not always. It seem that lead to trigger a sensor fault. But I'm unsure about this. I don't know the behaviour of the code regarding fuel-flex sensor fault detection. This was with 1.4.1 firmware.

All fuel-flex sensors are OEM with Brazil curve, not Chinese ones.

There are some screenshot of this problem on this topic (page 28) :

FIY, I also noticed a 300ms delay between power on of the sensor and the first relevant information. Continental state a 250ms gap.

Ive lost track of the fixes from 342. Can i send adc values over can for the analog input for knock input? In 342, only allows input from js4/5 but does alow can port/bit input.

Thanks Ryan
