IAC output/s to control 3-Wire Idle Valve?

Would it be Possible to run 3-wire Idle valve on one of the IAC Outputs. ( I know it's not currently supported)

But would it be feasible, As the H-Bridge is by norm a sort of Push-Pull set up? (ie. IAC1A <- Power -> IAC1B)

I would love to try but unfortunately the Option for IAC1 or 2 is not available under Fidle PWM output.

Please, if I am totally farting in the wind let me know... and why... :D

Kindest Regards
Gordon.

I'm pretty sure that the current capacity of the H-bridge driver is too low for typical PWM valves.

James If we drive 2 tip120 from one iac output and its complementary pin it should work.

If you search you can find schematics for a circuit to drive a "traditional" 3 wire PWM IACV.

However make sure that's the kind of valve you have. There are many 2000 and newer cars that have a 3 wire connector but it is power ground and a 5V digital PWM that does the controlling.

I posted about this before
