MS2 Extra Acura/Honda K-Series K20A K24A

Post by CHB »

Hi guys,
Not sure if this is the right place to post this.
But has anyone successfully running K20A K24A Honda Acura engines with any of the Megasquirt ECU?
Being dynamic VTC, VTEC, RPM and MAP as major deciding factor of how the engine will function.
Most people would rather delete the VTC or delete VTEC and run the engine as old fashion way, only RPM and MAP tuning.
I know DIYautotune sell VVTuner closed loop control box, but that is more for Miata NB. Anyone knows if it will works for Honda K series?

The VVTuner won't work here, but MS3 has native support for the crank and cam triggers, including VVT.

Hi Matt
I can't seems to find the information of which output should I use for the VTC control.
Can you shed some light please?

On an MS3X, you'd use the mid current outputs for VVT output. On something in the MS3pro family, you'd use a PWM output pin.
