Hi All.

I need to find some data out on some injectors I have got.
I have been looking all over the net but can't find anything.

Below are the numbers one the side of the injector.

Ah, those numbers are very familiar to me. They're the same injectors
that rover use from about 1992-2000 in conjunction with sequential injection.
I've some some rough and ready tests on them and I make them about 440cc/min,
as a result I speculate that the 460 in the part number is that they're
actually 460cc/minute.

I still need the flow rate confirmed.

The more I try to find out about thease injectors to more dif details i find.

So far I looks like thease might of been used to Rover and or the New Mini's.

I have also now uploaded to the 1st post a few pictures of the injectors, I showed them to a friend and he seems to think thay are "nippon denso" Injectors.

I have had thease Injectors confirmed as "Nippon Denso MJY100460"
But am still unable to find data regarding them.

Looks like I might have to send them off to be flow tested.

Yes just got your e-mail. lol.

As quoted in my reply to your e-mail.
I never did find out any data on thease injectors.
But in the next few weeks I will be sending them off for testing / cleaning / bench flowed.

I also will be using thease @ 3bar.
The firm I will be sending them to only flow test them at 50% duty cycle.

50% duty cycle is absolutely perfect for what i need to know! :D :D :D :D

620ti - great info, thanks!

Also - for anyone else's future reference these are also the units fitted to the Rover MPi Mini Coopers made from 1997 to 2000.
Spec:
3 bar fuel rail, two injectors per engine (siamesed inlet ports) and MEMS sequential injection.

It's not just those cars either, rover 400s also had those injectors so I suspect
most rovers of that era used the same units.

Well I have just got back the injectors.

Heres the test sheet.
Image

So thats 122cc/½ min @ 50% duty cycle
244cc/min @ 50% duty cycle.
488cc/min @ 100% duty cycle.

So we are looking at 390cc/min @ 80% duty cycle.
