I'm about to purchase a MS board. I'm thinking between the v3 and the v2.2. I have a 60-2 wheel installed currently because I have tec 2 engine management on there now. the car orignally had a distributor setup so I can run either a distribitor or the 60-2 wheel. I have two problems:
1. I have 2.4ohm low impedence injectors so would I need to use a flyback board if i choose v2.2?
2. what is the actually advantages and disadvantages of using a 60-2 wheel with vr sensor VS a distributor?

I ran 2.4ohm injectors on my setup for quite a while with no flyback. Worked well but I did have a starting issue that went away when I changed to high imp injectors.
The 60-2 crank wheel will be more accurate than a distributor setup but unless you are running on the ragged edge under boost it isn't really an issue. OEM's are going to DIS for emmission purposes not performance.
