Russell twist-loc fittings...

Post by DonBecker »

...how do you get them on?

They're supposed to push-on, but I've tried WD40 and white lithium grease, and nothing seems to work. Even tried soaking the hose in boiling water to soften it up.

I'm short of clamping the hose in a vise, but I don't want to damage the hose.

Can anyone help?

Are you using the proper hose? They are very specific about what you must use and nothing else. I haven't used them but a buddy did and he didn't mention any negatives. I'll ask him when he's around.

Maybe a quick call to Russell 1-310-781-2222 :?:

FWIW,

David,

Thanks, I tried calling Russell but it was Sunday...

Anyways, a friend said that he could do them for me, so I should be good.

Thanks!
