Hello.
to the point, my rpm is 100% reliable and smooth up to exacly 4300rpm, where there's always a spike (to exacly 5083rpm).
I tried adjusting with two vr conditioning circuit pots, and now it's slightly better, i.e. the spike does not occur on every revolution of the crank, but it's less frequent, and basically the car feels like it's missing in that area of rpm.
before I pull apart all the wiring from under the hood/firewall/dashboard and spend whole weekend rebuilding my wiring harness, is there any other way of adjusting sensivity/whatever of vr crank pickup (hardware of software) ?
I'm pretty sure the pots are dialled in as best as they can be (i.e. any different adjustmenbts produces more spikes/anomalies).
cheers.
Mops.

i changed the predictor in ignition pickup from 20% to 10%, that seemed to cure the problem. is it ok to have that value at 10% ? any side effects that might happen ?
