Do Ignition Tables Need To Match VE Table?

Do the ignition table MAP and RPM specific bins need to match the same as the VE table?
I uploaded the old 8x8 VE table (they were transformed to 12x12) that has different MAP and RPM bins as the default ones that I burned into my MS-II (V2.2) tables.
Do they all need to follow the same curve?

Nope. They can be totally different.

Only for MS-II or is this the case as well for MSnS-E?

I'm running MsnS-Extra and it works for me. I'm sure it's the case for MS-II as well.
